Preston Suds is Charlottesville’s cleanest & friendliest laundromat. We offer brand new top of the line industrial washers & dryers. We have an attendant on site for all your needs and questions. We also offer extended hours 7AM – 9PM for your convenience.

Our Washers & Dryers

At Preston Suds we have state of the art laundromat equipment including top of the line Electrolux washers with high speed dryers. Our Electrolux washers are not only industrial grade in their washing capability, they also spin at 200Gs to wring out most of the water before your clothes even go to the dryers, minimizing drying time and cost. At Preston Suds we have 33 washers in 4 washer sizes to handle every need including 20 lb Double Loaders, 45 lb Quad Loaders, 62 lb Mega Loaders, and 77 lb Monster Loaders.

Our washers offer a standard pre-wash, Wash cycle, and 2 rinse cycles. They also include the an optional additional heavy pre-wash and an optional third rinse. Of course, you can always choose cold, warm, or hot water.

Our Dryers at Preston Suds are state of the art and include hot axial air flow dryers to do the job quickly and minimize your wait time. We have 32 Dryers in 3 sizes including Monster dryers for your large loads including comforters and large blankets.
